A NEW WAY OF LIFE IN PROVENCE

The 5-star Hotel B Design & Spa was dreamt up by a hotelier together with his family from Belgium, who fell in love with a piece of Provence twenty years ago. It’s also the fruit of meeting with Parisian designer Christophe Pillet, who designs hotel rooms. It’s all about the experience.

"beautifull, fine, good"

These three words could define the concept of design. B is also the capital letter of André Bourguignon’s surname. Immersed in the catering world since his childhood, André Bourguignon is self-taught with multiple talents, alternating between the positions of editor, journalist, restaurateur, consultant for the hotel and eventually hotel owner himself. He has drawn on all his experience and know-how in the service of the concept b design, which he just wanted the best for.

AN IDEAL GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION

The hotel is in the commune Paradou, in the valley of Les Baux-de-Provence, at the epicentre of one of the most beautiful regions of France. It’s a paradise in the true sense of the word, where the pleasures of gastronomy, history and nature come together.

A land of art, culture and the art of living: Les Baux de Provence and its castle are in the immediate vicinity and Fontveille is not far away. There you can explore the Mill of Alphonse Daudet and the Castle of Montauban, Saint Rémy de Provence, Arles, Avignon, Aix-en-Provence and their shops etc.

From the hotel terraces, guests can enjoy the foothills of the Alpilles and the olive garden, or, if they prefer to lounge around, enjoy all day in the sun facing due south.

Designed above an olive grove with hundred-year-old trees, at the base of the Alpilles mountain range, B Design is a contemporary building whose discretion, simplicity and integration into the landscape are reminiscent of the old bastides.

Yet your comfort, the hotel facilities and the open views to the outside are the very expression of our millennium. The apparent austerity of its silhouette guards the secret of thoroughly contemporary and innovative decor, created from the aspirations of our time, offering a new kind of stay in Provence.
